Norway – (E7) Code of ethics at the national level

Norway has a strong and respected national-level code of ethics for the press.

The Norwegian Press Association (Norsk presseforbund) has responsibility for the code of ethics (called Vær varsom-plakaten) and the board of ethics (Pressens faglige utvalg), which received complaints on breaches of the code of ethics. https://presse.no/om-oss/
There is also a code of ethics for editors (Redaktørplakaten), administered by The Association of Norwegian Editors (https://www.nored.no).
