According to our respondents, most leading companies have made resources available for investigative reports. About half of them have established teams for conducting investigations on a regular basis, although the exact figures are not publicly disclosed. The interviewees said that the investigative teams have more resources, such as time and funds, to work on the stories. They have more flexible schedules and are not required to submit stories daily. However, the calculation of resources is inevitable. More funds are also available for investigative teams to buy tickets to conduct research overseas.
Most of the respondents suggested that reporters in their companies are encouraged to engage in investigative reporting, even though they are not part of the investigative team. Resources and time could become available for them if they have a good story idea.
